Artist statement

For me, photography is a universal language that can be understood and interpreted immediately, without prior knowledge and anywhere at lightning speed.
In my opinion, the representation of bodies in art and the media is characterized by distorted perception and unrealistic ideals of beauty. I would like to try to rectify them with my pictures. I consciously choose a young and dynamic imagery that is provocative and avant-garde and appeals to a young and international target group.
My medium is artistic photography. The language of form is clear and minimalistic: I often work stylistically with colours. Colors are unconsciously absorbed by the viewer and used to express moods and feelings. My genres are mainly nudes and still lifes. I use floral elements from nature as well as body painting. I get very close to my subjects to create a sense of intimacy and closeness.
